Applying and arrival verification
Applications generally open prior to a scheduled course and close once capacity is reached or at the sole discretion of Satya Sadhna Kendra. Submitting an application does not guarantee or reserve a seat; admission is valid only after official confirmation is issued by the centre. Applicants must provide truthful, complete information and upload a clear, recent photograph. Upon arrival at the centre, every confirmed participant must present the original government-issued photo identification document declared in their application and sign the physical registration record. Applicants under 18 years of age must have the consent and signature of a parent or legal guardian.
Admission is at the Kendra's discretion
Admission to any course, retreat (shivir), or campus programme is granted at the sole and absolute discretion of Satya Sadhna Kendra. The Kendra reserves the right to decline any application, defer an applicant to a future course, or revoke a confirmed admission at any stage—including upon arrival at the centre—without assigning any reason. Admission to specialized programmes, such as the 45-Day Shivir, is further subject to fulfilling specific prerequisites, including prior completion of at least five 10-day courses and one year of regular daily practice.
Being asked to leave
Satya Sadhna Kendra reserves the unconditional right to require any participant to leave a course and vacate the campus at any time, with or without assigning a reason, including for non-compliance with course conduct, disruption of campus harmony, undisclosed health concerns, or inability to follow instructions. Upon being asked to leave, the participant must vacate the premises promptly at their own arrangement and expense. No claim, compensation, or liability of any kind shall arise from the refusal of admission, revocation of a confirmed seat, or removal from a course.
Your health and medical responsibility
Courses conducted at Satya Sadhna Kendra provide spiritual and meditative training; they are not medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment, therapy, or counselling, nor are they a substitute for professional healthcare. Participation is strictly voluntary and undertaken entirely at the participant's own risk. Each participant remains solely responsible for their physical, mental, and emotional health, ongoing medications, and personal well-being before, during, and after the course. Every participant must be medically fit to stay at the centre for the whole course and free from any infectious disease.
Applicants must fully and accurately disclose all past and present physical or mental health conditions, medical treatments, medications, and pregnancy status when applying. Suppression or misrepresentation of health information is grounds for immediate denial of admission or dismissal from a course. In the event of an illness, injury, or medical concern during a stay, the Kendra is authorized (but not obligated) to notify the participant's designated emergency contact and arrange external medical care or hospitalization. All costs relating to medical treatment, ambulance transport, or evacuation shall be borne solely by the participant or their family.
Course conduct and discipline
By attending a course, participants agree to strictly observe all rules of course conduct for the entire duration of the stay. This includes maintaining complete noble silence (no speaking, gestures, or written notes with fellow participants), remaining within the designated campus boundaries, abstaining completely from tobacco, alcohol, and any intoxicants, observing strict separation of accommodation and seating between men and women, avoiding physical contact, dressing modestly, eating only the vegetarian meals provided, and practising strictly as guided by the teacher (Acharya) while setting aside all other rituals or practices, fasting, and the recitation of mantras, and keeping no religious or spiritual objects such as a mala, tabeez or ganda, during the course. Participants must also take care of the Kendra's buildings, rooms, furniture, bedding, meditation hall and all other property, and report any damage to the management at once; a participant who damages Kendra property, deliberately or through carelessness, may be asked to make it good, and deliberate damage may lead to being asked to leave the course.
Leaving early, and changes of plan
Because the meditative practice develops progressively day by day, participants must commit to remaining on campus for the entire duration of the course, from registration until official conclusion. Leaving a course prior to completion is not permitted except in the case of a genuine emergency and with the explicit permission of the course management. If your plans change prior to the start of a course, you must notify the centre immediately so that your seat may be allocated to another applicant.
Personal belongings and safekeeping
During the course, participants are required to deposit mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic devices, reading or writing materials, and other prohibited items with the centre for safekeeping until the conclusion of the course. All personal luggage, valuables, cash, and deposited items brought onto the campus or handed in for safekeeping remain strictly at the participant's sole risk. Satya Sadhna Kendra, its trustees, staff, and volunteers accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the loss, theft, misplacement, or damage of any personal property. Participants are strongly advised not to bring jewellery, excessive cash, or expensive items to the centre.
Travel and transit
Participants are solely responsible for arranging and funding their own travel to and from the centre, both at the start and conclusion of a course (or in the event of early departure). All transit is undertaken entirely at the participant's own cost and risk.
No recording and intellectual property
To preserve the sanctity of the practice and the privacy of participants, taking photographs or making audio or video recordings anywhere on campus during a course is strictly prohibited. All discourses, guided instructions, chants, printed literature, and teaching materials are the exclusive intellectual property of Satya Sadhna Kendra and may not be recorded, reproduced, transcribed, distributed, broadcast, or published in any form without prior written authorization from the Kendra.
Changes and cancellations by the Kendra
Satya Sadhna Kendra reserves the right to modify course dates, daily schedules, accommodation arrangements, teaching assignments, or venues, or to postpone or cancel any scheduled course at any time due to operational, administrative, or unforeseen circumstances. The Kendra shall not be liable for any direct or indirect costs, travel expenses, ticket cancellation charges, or inconvenience incurred by applicants or participants as a result of such changes or cancellations.
Limitation of liability and indemnity
All courses and on-campus facilities at Satya Sadhna Kendra are offered in a spirit of service without commercial fee. To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, Satya Sadhna Kendra, its trust/society, trustees, Acharyas (teachers), management committees, coordinators, staff, and volunteers (sevadars) shall not be liable for any physical or mental illness, emotional distress, injury, accident, death, loss, or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with applying for, travelling to, attending, or leaving a course, or using this website. By applying for or attending a course, the participant (on behalf of themselves, their family, heirs, and legal representatives) irrevocably releases and indemnifies Satya Sadhna Kendra and its personnel from any claims, demands, or legal proceedings arising from their participation.
Donations
There is no fee charged for instruction, boarding, or lodging at any course. All courses are sustained by voluntary contributions. Any donation made to Satya Sadhna Kendra is entirely voluntary, unconditional, and non-refundable. Statutory tax exemptions, where applicable, are governed strictly by Indian tax laws and the terms printed on the official receipt.
